To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to let you know that the Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District (LAVWCD) will be postponing our reopen date to Monday, May 4 with limited staff. Per Colorado’s Safer at Home Order, Governor Polis has advised that working remotely continue for offices, and starting May 4 up to 50% of staff can work in person while still practicing safe social distancing. LAVWCD is continuing to monitor public health concerns surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, also known as COVID-19. While we continue to provide necessary services, we are also watching out for the health and safety of our staff and directors.

This has been put into place by the Board of Directors and LAVWCD management to limit the social interaction and continual potential spread of COVID-19. Staff will continue to work remotely till May 4, unless otherwise directed to do so. Business and meetings will be by appointment only via conference call and all staff can be reached via their cell phones during normal business hours.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this trying time. Sincerely,

Jay Winner General Manager Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District 801 Swink Avenue, Rocky Ford, CO 81067
