Colorado Gov. Jared Polis will provide a live update on the state's COVID-19 response Monday afternoon.

Polis' update follows another week of steadily increasing hospitalizations due to the virus. On Friday, the state health department announced Colorado had reached its highest number of COVID-19 hospitalizations to date — even exceeding a previous peak recorded in April.

The update will begin around 12:30 p.m. Monday via a livestream on the governor's Facebook page. Once the update begins, the Coloradoan will add the live video to this story.
