La Junta Senior Golf League season in review
Here is a review of the 2020 Seniors Golf League.
The league played 18 weeks from June 16 until Nov. 3.
There were six players who played in all 18 tournaments. The list includes Jay Bollacker, Lyle Lough, Bob May, Mack O'Neal, Max Romero and Alan Root.
A total of 58 different people played throughout the season — 43 men and 15 women.
The league averaged 32.8 players per week. The highest attendance was 37 golfers and the lowest was 29.
Three players won the chipping contest throughout the year — Clark Claycomb, Sudi Stokes and Caroline Kibler.
The Top 10 winners were Max Romero, Gary Armitage, Janet Golding, Rob Tryon, Bob Malden, Jay Bollacker, Jim Baird, Rick Blackford, Ron Bay and CaSandra Thomas.
