Mora, Trujillo win virtual Rocky Ford races

Michael Mora was the winner of the 5K race in the Rocky Ford Ring out the Old and Ring in the New Year virtual race which took place during the final week of December.

The Rocky Ford Virtual Ring out the Old and Ring in the New Year 5K-10K run took place between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day.

Runners had to map a course and use their FitBit, Garmin or smartwatch to keep time.

The winner of the 5K was Michael Mora, who had a time of 25 minutes, 5 seconds. Larriana Taggert had the best women's time of 26:43.

In the 10K race, Robert Trujillo was the overall winner in 55:19. Katie Harris had the best women's time of 1:02:41.
